HP upgrades Pavilion dv6t and dv7t laptops, starts shipping TouchSmart tm2 tablet
Hewlett-Packard is starting the week off with a bang: shipping has commenced for the TouchSmart tm2 convertible tablet PC that was introduced at CES 2010, plus we're going to see a major upgrade to both the Pavilion dv6t and dv7t laptop lines.

Hewlett-Packard is starting the week off with a bang: shipping has commenced for the TouchSmart tm2 convertible tablet PC that was introduced at CES 2010, plus we're going to see a major upgrade to both the Pavilion dv6t and dv7t laptop lines.
The convertible tablet comes with a $949.99 price tag, before taxes and shipping. Some of the TouchSmart tablet's must-know specs include:
- 12.1-inch WXGA HP LED LCD touchscreen
- Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 1.3GHz processor
- Windows 7 Home Premium
- 160GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
- Up to 8 GB of high-speed DDR3 memory
- Built-in webcam
As for the (now old school-style?) Pavilion laptops, the dv6t and dv7t series are both getting the option of an Intel Core i5-520M 2.4GHz processor, plus free two free upgrades: 3 GB memory (up from 2 GB) and a 320GB 7200rpm hard drive (up from 250GB 7200rpm).
