IBM brings Unix to Christmas

Christmas has come early for IBM Unix fans with today's online auction for an IBM eServer p680.

But you won't find it on eBay or QXL. Working with @themoment, a provider of ecommerce solutions, IBM will give registered customers the chance to bid for the big box. The auction will close on 28 December at 17:00 (GMT) with the server going to the highest bidder, provided the offer meets or exceeds the reserve price. It is only open to UK customers.
