If you've been thinking about picking up some development books on iOS for reading over the holidays, there's no time like the present.

The iBookstore, Apple's own electronic bookstore, is now featuring six titles for free. The titles include iOS Technology Overview, Object-Oriented Programming with Objective-C, iOS Human Interface Guidelines, iOS Application Programming Guide, The Objective-C Programming Language, and Cocoa Fundamentals Guide.

The above, combined with Google's App Inventor, should make you an App coding all-star before the new year.

Thanks to TUAW for the heads-up.
