The Barbie Photo Designer Digital Camera can take up to six images then download them to a Pentium PC (90MHz or better recommended) via a serial cable.
It includes software that allows girls to add their own images to those of Barbie, play with visual effects settings, and save them in a virtual scrapbook. The software can also stitch photos together to make an animated movie.
The toy will ship to US toy shops in time for Christmas at around $70 and will be available in UK shops in the second half of 1999.
