Quek prefers to see the clients personally, even though the Internet gives her the option not to. She says that it gives her the chance to find out why the clients sometimes say 'no'.

"We develop everything from a customer perspective... We put our ears to the ground and adapt ourselves accordingly to the customers."

"I still go out into the field," says Quek. "It's very hard for me for develop applications or services unless I talk to the customer."

It also allows her the chance to find out ways to help clients improve productivity, efficiency and business.

The project teams that are sent out to work with clients are required to take at least one person from every department of the company.

The IT staff, especially, are encouraged to accompany the sales people to see the clients' point of view.

"When they go out and see the clients, they know the level of expertise the client has with computers and the Internet," says Quek. "It makes them better able to design applications and services."

Such a practise is essential for the business that they are in, believes Quek.

"We develop everything from a customer perspective," she points out. "We put our ears to the ground and adapt ourselves accordingly to the customers."
