Recosoft this week released Version 5 of PDF2Office Professional, software that turns PDF files into formatted Microsoft Office files, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. The update supports Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and offers more than 100 new features, the company said.
The major addition to Version 5.0 is support for Excel spreadsheet and workbook formats. And these aren't just RTF or older versions, but include the latest 2007/2008 formats.
In addition, the software offers a number of formatting options for conversion, such as identification of 2-digit year data, fractional decimal amounts, hyphens and font substitution.
The cost of the package is $129 and the upgrade from previous versions is $69.
