Salesforce.com is expanding its new Marketing Cloud ecosystem already with the hopes of offering customers more social data that could enable better business decisions quicker.

Announced amid Cloudforce 2012 in New York City on Friday, the enterprise cloud giant has signed on 20 social analytics vendors to bring their data analytics skills to the platform.

Those companies include The Marketing Cloud ecosystem includes partners Bitext, Calais, Caterva, Clarabridge Link, EpiAnalytics, Kanjoya, Klout, Kred, LeadSift, Lexalytics, LinguaSys, Lymbix, Metavana, OpenAmplify, PeekAnalytics, Rapleaf, Solariat, Soshio, The SelfService Company and Trendspottr.

Advertised as the "world's only integrated social marketing platform," Marketing Cloud is the composition of some of Salesforce's acquisitions, such as Radian6 and Buddy Media.

Salesforce officially debuted the integrated platform as the Marketing Cloud during Dreamforce '12 in September, described at the time as an all-in-one solution for unifying fragmented conversations and data from social channels.

Essentially, it promises to turn insights into actions and connections into customers for life because of the way that brands can engage them using this platform.

With the addition of the services from these social analytics firms, Salesforce said that customers should be able to "create a dashboard that delivers a single social snapshot of their company using the analytics that are most valuable to their specific business." This includes support for content in 17 languages.

Additionally, Salesforce is introducing a new credits-based pricing model for Marketing Cloud, which is intended to be more flexible for purchasing and combining services from these 20 partners.

Starting at $5,000 per month with 1,000 partner credits, the Marketing Cloud basic edition includes social listening, content, engagement, advertising, workflow, automation and measurement services. Additional blocks of 10,000 credits can be purchased for $100 per month.

These social analytics add-on packages are now available on the Marketing Cloud dashboard.
