Samsung intros lengthy list of Galaxy Tab accessories
Samsung Mobile has rolled out a list of official accessories for the Galaxy Tab. Start editing your own holiday wish lists now.
The list in full consists of the following:
- Keyboard dock: £69.99 ($111)
- Multimedia Desk Dock: £39.99 ($63)
- Notebook/Stand case: £29.99 ($47)
- Leather Slip Case: £24.99 ($40)
- D30 Silicon/Gel Case: £19.99 ($32)
- Portable Speakers: £19.99 ($32)
- Headphones: £19.99 ($32)
- Samsung Memory Cards: 2GB - £8.99 ($14); 4GB - £13.99 ($22); 8GB - £23.99 ($38)
- Travel Adapter: £34.99 ($55)
- USB Data Cable: £14.99 ($24)
- TV-Out Cable: £14.99 ($24)
- In-Car Charger: £24.99 ($40)
Nearly everything will be available starting November 1...in the United Kingdom, at least. The portable speakers and memory cards are actually ready now. The D30 Silicon/Gel Case won't be available until the middle of the month.
That last one seems the most intriguing, given that it involves "perfect protection" with a protective material that "transforms from a soft, flexible gel to a shock absorbent casing" when tumbling upon a surface. External speakers might seem like a good idea too, just like that set available for the iPad now.
Official U.S. pricing and release dates haven't been announced yet, but don't expect them to be too far off from this list. Costs will most likely be a bit lower than the equivalent amount with today's exchange rate.
