Sonos WD100 Wireless Dock for iPhone/iPod now shipping

Another day, another hour, another iPod/iPhone speaker dock. This one is from Sonos, and it is now shipping.

Sonos promised last month that the WD100 petite speaker dock would start shipping at the end of October with an MSRP of $119, and the company has made good on that commitment.

Essentially an accessory to the Sonos Multi-Room Music System, the whole set-up is tailored to Apple's AirPlay technology for streaming music in multiple rooms within the home on the same network at once.

Before you go out and buy this product, here's are the portable music players that fit the bill: iPod touch (1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation), iPod classic, iPod nano (3rd, 4th, and 5th generation), iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G and the original iPhone.
