Sony announced on Friday that its PlayStation VR -- available for pre-order on Tuesday, March 22 for $499 -- will give you everything you need to get the headset running when it launches in October.
Sony says the launch bundle is "exclusively for pre-sale and in limited quantities" and is available through other retailers like GameStop and Best Buy.
The pre-order is only for the launch bundle, and not just the headset itself.
The launch bundle includes the PlayStation VR, a PlayStation Camera, stereo headphones, a VR games, and two PlayStation Move controllers.
Sony caused a bit of confusion earlier this week when it announced pricing for the PlayStation VR. The company said it will cost $399, however that is for the headset only. The price tag didn't include the PlayStation Camera that is required for it to run. Sony believes a large set of its PlayStation users already have the Camera.
The PlayStation VR will work with 50 games when it launches, Sony says, and will have a cinematic mode for viewing movies, television shows, and non-VR games.
If you miss out on this wave of pre-orders, Sony says a second round will be available closer to launch.
To compare, the PlayStation VR's main competitors, the Facebook-owned Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, will be priced at $599 and $799 respectively.
