Toshiba has a busy release schedule ahead of them, starting with the introduction of the Z1 Regza series of LED LCD TVs with the ability to record over local area networks.

The Z1 series will be available in 37-, 42-, 47- and 55-inch wide varieties, with full HD displays. Featuring LED lighting on the edges, the Z1 series boasts a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 and connectivity support for HDMI, SD/SDHC cards, USB and Ethernet. Also compatible with Windows 7, the Z1 Regza series shines among the crowd with the ability to record content via USB or LAN connections.

The excitement for Toshiba won't stop there, as the Tokyo-based company has 15 LCD Regza TVs lined up to be released this year, with some sets equipped with 2D to 3D conversion support to debut this summer.

Unfortunately, these are all only posted to be released in Japan so far. No word on when they will ship to North America.
