Toshiba offers some Earth Day incentives to spur online notebook purchases
Earth Day marks the culmination of some incentives that Toshiba American Information Systems if offering to individuals buying a Satellite or Qosmio notebook computer off its ToshibaDirect e-commerce site.There are three promotions that apply April 22, 2009, only:First, if you buy a Qosmio or Satellite notebook AND you turn in some old electronics as part of Toshiba's recycling program, you will get a $100 rebate.

Earth Day marks the culmination of some incentives that Toshiba American Information Systems if offering to individuals buying a Satellite or Qosmio notebook computer off its ToshibaDirect e-commerce site.
There are three promotions that apply April 22, 2009, only:
- First, if you buy a Qosmio or Satellite notebook AND you turn in some old electronics as part of Toshiba's recycling program, you will get a $100 rebate. Here's a list of what qualifies for recycling.
- Second, if you buy a Qosmio or Satellite on April 22 (aka Earth Day), you will receive a free Norton 360 one-year subscription (worth $59.99)
- Finally, if you're not inclined to buy one of the preconfigured notebooks, you can receive a 25 percent discount on any customizable Satellite notebook if you buy it before the end of the day on April 22.
