Following in the wake of Best Buy's Black Friday PlayStation deals, Walmart has rolled out a PS3 bundle for HDTV buyers this weekend. You can get a 46-inch 1080p LED-backlit Sony Bravia set with a 160GB PlayStation 3 for just $998.

Online pricing of the included Bravia KDL-46EX600 shows the set costing $1,078.99 at Best Buy, so not only is Walmart knocking $80 off that price, but is also essentially throwing in the PS3 for free. The lone bummer is that this Bravia only supports 60Hz refresh rates, which makes it a bit of a lagger when it comes to reproducing action scenes without some motion blur. If you want to spend a little less, you can get the 40-inch version of the TV with the same PS3 for $798.

Walmart's sale comes at a time when the Xbox 360's sales are surging thanks to the introduction of its smash Kinect motion-control system. While Sony has touted the sale of its PlayStation Move controllers, Kinect has become the must-have gaming accessory of the holiday season. Would a bundled PS3 be enough of an enticement to you to buy a new Sony HDTV? Let us know in the Comments section.
