AirPods Max

Are they worth $550? It's a subjective question, and it's one we don't have an answer for yet. By far the most impressive aspect of the AirPods Max is their sound quality. And if you're judging the AirPods Max based on build quality alone, then they're a hit. But the case is, well, a joke. At least it feels like one.

OnePlus Nord N10 5G

Without OnePlus's distinctive alert slider, the Nord N10 5G is in danger of being 'just another phone for around £300', although the Reading Mode that's part of the OxygenOS overlay is present, and battery life is good. Still, it's probably worth shopping around to see what £329 will get you if that's your top budget.

Google Pixel 4a 5G

This phone has a fantastic camera, excellent 5G performance, and all the great Android goodies that come with a Pixel, such as timely Android security updates and new feature drops. The display is lovely, the matte back finish is easy to grasp, and we found performance to be flawless.

Motorola Moto G9 Plus

Given its budget price, the Moto G9 Plus is never going to deliver much more than an average specification. Still, it does this intelligently and delivers some pleasant surprises, including good battery life, a large screen, and some nice customisation features and controls.

ZTE Axon 20 5G

This is the world's first phone with an under display front-facing camera. There is no notch, hole punch, rotating, or mechanical rising camera here and you simply get a full display experience. Overall, it is an impressive hardware package, especially for less than $500.

Dell Precision 5750

Dell boasts that the Precision 5750 is "the world's smallest and thinnest 17-inch workstation". It's no ultraportable, but if you need a laptop that can deliver genuine workstation-class graphics performance both on the desktop and on the road, then the Precision 5750 is hard to beat.

Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 1

Lenovo's ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 1 impresses on several fronts, including its solid build, well-made 360-degree screen hinge, high-quality display, bundled ThinkPad Pen Pro, and configuration options that include smartcard and mobile broadband, plus screen security features.

Netgear Orbi Pro WiFi 6 (SXK80)

While the Orbi Pro WiFi 6 is clearly an expensive, top-of-the-range solution, its speed and ability to configure multiple networks for different groups of users makes it a good option for many organisations, as well as for business users who are now working from home.

Jabra Evolve2 85

The Jabra Evolve2 85 is the nearly perfect headset for the work week. It's available now for $449, or $499 with the charging stand. This is a significant price, but if you spend all day on Teams or on your phone then it is a great option for focused work.

Garmin Index S2

$150 is a fairly high price for a connected scale, despite all of the available body metrics and colour display. You may have to be a major Garmin fan to justify the Index S2, but it works well and looks good in the bathroom.
