HP HD DVD at CES
Hewlett-Packard displayed this HD DVD disc player at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show, held in January in Las Vegas, but the company has since said it will produce equipment that will support Blu-ray as well as HD DVD.

Panasonic DMR-E700BD
The Panasonic DMR-E700BD is scheduled to hit the Japanese market July 31. It supports single-side, dual-layer Blu-ray discs with a maximum capacity of 50GB.

Toshiba HD DVD-ROM notebook
Toshiba is rolling out the world's first notebook PC equipped with an HD DVD-ROM drive. The Qosmio G30/697HS will be available in Japan next month. Pricing and availability have yet to be announced.
