C3 IoT raises $70 million led by TPG

C3 IoT has raised $70 million in venture funding led by TPG.

The company, led by Thomas Siebel, has been expanding rapidly and targeting multiple industries with an Internet of Things (IoT) analytics platform that rides on top of Amazon Web Services.

TPG Growth led a Series D round that included previous investors Sutter Hill, Interwest Partners, and Siebel.

C3 IoT started out targeting utilities, but it has since expanded into healthcare, telecom, retail, transportation, and government, among other areas. The company has 20 enterprise deployments and 70 million devices being tracked.
