Cornerstone OnDemand revamps HR platform for SMBs
Talent management software provider Cornerstone OnDemand has given its Growth Edition HR platform a reboot. The SMB platform now features a mobile-optimized design and some of Cornerstone's analytics tools, the company said.

"Growth Edition was completely rebuilt to not only automate performance reviews, but also to provide continuous learning and development opportunities for helping small businesses retain top talent," Cornerstone said in the announcement.
Additionally, Cornerstone is teaming with payroll giant ADP to make Growth Edition available to ADP customers. According to ADP's chief strategy officer Don Weinstein, the partnership will let customers sign into one platform "where they can access workforce data through secure cloud infrastructure and utilize developer resources to drive meaningful business productivity."
This is a strategic move on the part of Cornerstone, as it will help the company reach hundreds of thousands of small businesses that it otherwise probably wouldn't have on its own.
Overall, Cornerstone has been trying to build out its platform as the company inches closer to profitability. Just last month Cornerstone launched its suite of so-called "people analytics" products.
The offerings include Cornerstone View, described as an interactive application to visualize employee data, as well as Cornerstone Planning, a planning application designed to that helps business create, manage and execute hiring plans.
