Datacenter and cloud exchange provider Equinix has bought Nimbo, a professional services company focused on enterprise cloud infrastructure.

Financial terms of the deal were not immediately available, but Equinix disclosed that Nimbo's revenue for 2014 was less than $10 million.

Nimbo provides consulting services that help enterprises migrate existing legacy applications into a hybrid cloud infrastructure and connect legacy datacenters to the cloud. It also brings with it experience on multiple cloud platforms, as it's a certified partner of both AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Equinix said it plans to use Nimbo's portfolio to bolster its professional services business, geared specifically toward data center migrations and hybrid cloud solutions.

"With our acquisition of Nimbo, we have expanded our ability to help customers leverage our unique cloud-density and Cloud Exchange value propositions and assist with the design and deployment of hybrid cloud solutions," Equinix CSO Pete Hayes said in a statement.
