When we launched the SmartPlanet you know and love back in June 2009, we did so with a weekly newsletter in tow, delivered to your inbox every Tuesday.

A year later, we switched that newsletter to a daily, to accommodate all the additional goodness that we were publishing.

But if you're like me, sometimes you just want to retreat from the week's noise and dive into a weekly summary of the best stuff.

The smartest stuff.

Forty-four of you spoke up; now, I'm happy to announce that we've developed a weekly newsletter that's small, simple, and hand-selected.

We know you're busy; we are, too. That's why SmartPlanet Weekly will offer just seven stories each week, one for each blog, chosen by an editor.

We'll deliver it to your inbox every Friday morning. (So when your brain is running out of steam that afternoon, you can re-energize with a little curated smartness from us.)
