Google launched its Apps Marketplace and there's a wide selection of apps to choose from. Here's a look at some of the categories.

The Google Apps Marketplace launched and there are a bevy of categories to consider. Aside from the various application categories, there's a breakdown of services and software broken down for large companies as well as small business implementations. The selection in key areas is well stocked. Google Apps has more than 50 software partners including big names like NetSuite and SuccessFactors as well as a bevy of smaller players. Click on the image to enlarge.

Some areas could use a broader selection. For instance, the "workflow" category looks a bit thin. Yet the two applications focused on workflow---from RunMyProcess and Cordys---have a lot of reviews on the software. Click on the image to enlarge.

The Google Apps Marketplace also has a bevy of services partners focused on medium-to-large sized businesses. Google certified partners are noted with an icon. Click on the image to enlarge.

Each category has areas where you can refined listings by features as well as product and service types. In some areas, this refinement doesn't add up. For instance, clicking on "installable products" doesn't yield anything. Click on the image to enlarge.
