Apple updated its MacBook Pro line with next-gen processors, graphics and I/O technology dubbed Thunderbolt. For good measure, Apple also released the developer preview of Mac OS X Lion. For more read Larry Dignan's blog.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro starts at $1,199 and features Intel’s Core i5 and Core i7 processors up to 2.7 GHz. The 15-inch MacBook comes in two models - a Core i7 version with a 500GB drive starts at $1,199 and one with a 750GB drive at $2,199. A 17-inch MacBook Pro begins at $2,499.

The height of the 15-inch MacBook Pro is 0.95 inches and the width is 14.35 inches. It weighs 5.6 pounds.

The ports include a Thunderbolt port (up to 10 Gbps), MagSafe power port, Gigabit Ethernet port, FireWire 800 port (up to 800 Mbps), and Two USB 2.0 ports (up to 480 Mbps).
