Lenovo announced it is joining the netbook parade with its new IdeaPad S10 netbook PC. The S10 is powered by the Intel Atom chip and comes with a 10.2-inch screen. It weighs just over two pounds and is about an inch thick.

The Lenovo netbook will come in two versions--one with 512 MB of memory and an 80 GB hard drive and the other with twice the memory and twice the hard drive capacity.

The IdeaPad S10 is expected to debut in October. The cheaper model will cost $399.
