Hands-on with the SuperTooth HD Bluetooth speaker

While we hope people can pull over to a safe place to make calls, there are still times when calls need to be taken while driving and the best way to do that is what a Bluetooth speaker. I found the SuperTooth HD to be one of the best ever with rare charging needs and never having to turn it off.
Check out my ZDNet Smartphones & Cell Phones blog post for details on using this new Bluetooth speaker.
A durable visor clip is included and it holds the SuperTooth HD in place with a couple of strong magnets.
The SuperTooth HD is a rather large speakerphone, but it does have dual mics and two speakers with an easy to use volume control knob.
Here you can see a side view with the clip attached.
The volume control knob has a rubber coating and pressing the center activates the multi-function button.
There is a smaller power button (I never use it) and a HandsFree Assistant dialing button on the front panel.
There are indicator lights for Bluetooth and charging status under the volume control knob.
The center of the volume control knob can be pressed in for multi-function actions.
There are two speakers in this end of the SuperTooth HD and volume is good enough to hear easily while traveling at highway speeds.
Black glossy plastic is used on the SuperTooth HD.
Inside the box you will find directions, a USB to microUSB cable, and a car charger.
Here is a shot of all of the box contents.
This press photo shows how the SuperTooth HD mounts on a visor in your car.
