Hands-on with the T-Mobile Rocket 3.0 and 42.2 Mbps data network

T-Mobile now has a HSPA+ USB stick they are advertising as a 4G device with support for their 42.2 Mbps data network.

The Rocket 3.0 is present inside the compact T-Mobile package.

As you can see you get three removable faceplates and a short USB cable.

You can change up your faceplate if you wish and IMHO the blue helps you find it much easier.

The USB stick only weighs just over an ounce and is quite compact.

The USB end swivels into various positions. You can have it so the USB stick stands up in your computer too.

The blue cover helps you see the Rocket 3.0 a bit better.
