Keep your drone away from these US landmarks


The new rules
The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) now bans flights up to 400 feet within the boundaries of 10 key landmarks in the United States.
From 5 October, unless permission has been gained from the US authority, drone hobbyists can face criminal charges and prosecution for flying their devices too close to these landmarks.
Statue of Liberty National Monument
Location: New York
The Statue of Liberty is one of the US' most well-known monuments, a gift from France in the 1800's.
Boston National Historical Park
Location: U.S.S. Constitution, Boston, MA
This landmark area was the site of one of the major battles of the American revolution.
Independence National Historical Park

This park holds the Liberty Bell alongside museums and the Independence Hall.
Folsom Dam

Glen Canyon Dam
