Microsoft Planner for Office 365

Create a task for your plan as a 'card' with content, checklists, links and comments, and tag with six colour tags.

You can add an image, document or web link and the card shows a preview.

Filter to see just your own tasks.

See all the tasks colour-coded by status.

See all the Plans you're part of in the Planner hub.

Notifications might be the weakest part of Planner today; just email, not calendar reminders.

Share documents for the plan in the Team Site library in sharepoint.

Office 365 Groups connect to dozens of other services; it would be nice to see these send content to Planner too.

The shared notebook is a OneNote notebook.

Planner uses Groups for membership and integrates -- sometimes at a basic level -- with many Office 365 features.

There's not enough integration; we'd like to see the custom labels for each document show up as tags in OneNote.

Planner should be a good tool in the education market, where Office 365 is making inroads.
