Orange customers to get Motorola Atrix in Q2
Motorola's dual-core smartphone, the Atrix, is expected to be available to Orange UK customers in the second quarter of 2011.
The Motorola Atrix has a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a high-resolution screen and supports up to 48GB of storage.
The phone will sport a full version of the Mozilla 3.6 web browser and support Adobe Flash graphics, animation and video.
The Atrix runs on Android 2.2 - known as Froyo - and uses a virtual keyboard for typing emails and messages.
The phone can also be used with a larger screen and full-sized keyboard by connecting it to the Motorola HD Multimedia Dock or the Motorola Laptop Dock.
Front and rear-facing cameras allow the phone to be used for video chat, and the phone has the ability to record in HD.
The device also comes with a biometric fingerprint reader that is used to unlock the phone.
The Atrix uses two microphones combined with noise-reduction technology to allow calls to be audible in noisy environments.
