Twitter
Continuing the social networking theme, Twitter can be consumed in iPhone app form - handy if you're contemplating using the microblogging service as a recruitment aid by tweeting current vacancies. There's scores of Twitter apps but the official app is not a bad place to start...

Direct Report: Employee Feedback Tracker
The Direct Report app lets you track and record employee feedback on your iPhone. Notes made in the app are automatically timestamped and reports can be emailed out, plus sorted by date, time and type of feedback: positive, neutral or constructive.

The Interviewer
Hone your interviewing technique with The Interviewer, an app that promises help at every stage of the interview process - before, during and after.
Before the interview use the app to select key skills required for the job and questions derived from those skills categories. You can also add custom questions. These can then be emailed to yourself or others.
The app then runs in real-time during the interview, displaying questions and providing prompts to help you dig for more info where appropriate. After the interview a candidate's performance can be assessed via the app, with questions tied to the previously selected job skills.
There's also tips on interviewing, such as how to structure the interview, questions to avoid, and how to ask open-ended and closed questions.

Dictionary of Human Resource Management Terms
Know your nomenclature with this HR management dictionary app - containing more than 900 terms, albeit with a US slant.
Features include browse and search functions, saved search history, and supplementary charts, graphs and examples. Definitions can also be emailed on.

The Influencer
Need to manage conflict in the office or personality clash in a management team? Get tips on how to improve workplace relationships with this iPhone app.
Users are asked to answer a series of questions to identify their communication preferences and approaches to office situations, and are then guided to gather info about a co-worker's working style. The app uses this data to offer tips and advice to improve the relationship, including creating action plans to help individuals change how they work.
