Review: JayBird Freedom provides wireless connectivity and sweat proof warranty

Many people use their smartphones when working out and since all of them now include Bluetooth wireless technology it is very convenient to use a wireless headset too. JayBird provides a headset with a 100% lifetime sweat proof warranty.

For those of us who sweat a lot when working out, this sweat proof warranty is quite important.

In July, JayBird started sending out these rubber clips to those who purchased the headset prior to the end of July. The ones I bought came with these clips to help hold the headset in place while running.

There are two earbuds that fit in your ears with many different tips to fit your ear canal size.

The right earbud is where all the business takes place, including the large gray multi-function button and volume buttons shown in this picture.

A flat rubber cable connects the two earbuds and the connection to the earbud is sealed.

Here you can see all the box contents, including the carrying case, eartips, and USB cable.

A USB cable is provided for charging, but unfortunately is not a standard microUSB cable.

These rubber supports help hold the headset in place.

The right earbud has an easy to access multi-function button and the earbud leads forward a bit when in place.

The cable is just about perfect for me with no real need for the tightening clip.
