Zoho CRM enables mobile access to the customer information stored in your Zoho customer relationship management account. You can access contacts, accounts, leads and more, as well as edit and delete records. Calls to contacts can be made and logged within the app. To use the app, users need to enable mobile edition access in their CRM account.

St George now has a mobile app for all platforms, and has added extra functionality, such as the ability to transfer money and pay bills. St George CEO Rob Chapman said that users have access to 95 per cent of the features that are most often used on internet banking.

Planned your flight, but forgot to book a hotel? Mr & Mrs Smith is an app that helps you find an available Smith hotel at your chosen destination for those last-minute bookings. The app also includes a truth or dare game, an excuses generator on what to say to get out of work and TuneSmith, which creates a soundtrack to go with your trip away from home! An app will be released later in the year for other smartphone platforms and for the iPad, according to the company.

Local directories shrunk to app size: this lets you find a local business by toggling between standard list view and map view, get directions, click to call a business, download coupons, browse business' websites and find enhanced information on business profile pages. In addition, its map navigation allows you to navigate listings by simply manipulating the map. Listing results are automatically updated as you scroll or change the zoom level on the map without needing a new search submission.

DHL Active Tracing

This app lets users check their shipment's status while they're on the move. Users can scan the barcode using the smartcode camera for the shipment, instead of entering track and trace numbers, and can send their colleagues links to the shipment status. The BlackBerry app is on its way, according to the company.

The new 5.7 version of Google Maps allows Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne commuters to get GPS stop-by-stop public transit directions in Navigation. There's also an experimental Google Labs "Download map area" add-on in the app, which will store a map for a specific area that users are visiting, taking Google Maps offline.
