SpeedCam Detector
Price: $1.53
Platform: Android
When rushing to a meeting, the last thing anyone wants to worry about is whether they just sped past a speed camera. SpeedCam Detector works by tracking the user's location via GPS, and, when approaching a fixed speed camera, sounds an alert and displays their current speed and the speed at which the camera will trigger. It can sit in the background, and also doesn't require an internet connection if the in-built map overlay is not required.
