How cheap does an HDTV need to be for you to wait in line on Black Friday?

Consumer electronics shopping site Retrevo.com asked one particularly interesting question in its recent study of online consumers, particularly those planning to wait in line to buy an HDTV on Black Friday: What's the highest price for a 37-inch set you would be willing to queue up for?

Consumer electronics shopping site Retrevo.com asked one particularly interesting question in its recent study of online consumers, particularly those planning to wait in line to buy an HDTV on Black Friday: What's the highest price for a 37-inch set you would be willing to queue up for?

Thirty-six percent of respondents said the maximum price would be $300, while 69 percent said $250 (obviously, respondents could choose more than one price). In a shocker to no one, a full 100 percent responded that $200 would get them out in the cold and on line.

Unfortunately for those surveyed, we've yet to see a Black Friday deal that good on a 37-inch HDTV. The best you can hope for is the Panasonic TC-L37C22 for $399.99 at Kmart and the Vizio E370VL for $378 at Walmart (the latter 1080p). Walmart is selling an Emerson 32-inch LCD for $198, just under that magic $200 threshold, but the best Black Friday TV sale still may be the 40-inch 1080p Westinghouse LCD for $298 at Target.

Given these findings, maybe Retrevo's question isn't as fine-tuned as it ought to be. Let's pose a different question and see how you readers respond:
