News Burst: More rumour on Intel/Lucent takeover of 3Com
A slowdown on remote access market leader 3Com's stocks being sold by its employees has fuelled rumours that the company may be an acquisition target for either Intel or Lucent.
This year, 3Com insiders have sold only one million shares compared with 4.8 million last year and 98.3 million in 1996. Share prices for 3Com have risen since speculation about Intel's interest in the company began last month.
