Quake IV, $50,000 prize at QuakeCon 2001
Sponsored by id Software, the sixth annual QuakeCon event will let more than 3,000 fans of the Quake series of first-person shooters meet, compete, trade war stories--and be among the first in the world to see the latest of id's games now in development.Many of the fans from around the world who attend the show will compete in the Quake III Arena tournament, which this year carries a top prize of $50,000.
