I showed you what to expect with Windows Mobile 6.5.3 and in advance of Mobile World Congress (MWC) we see Sony Ericsson announcing the SE Aspen device that runs this latest Microsoft operating system. The Aspen is the latest in the Greenheart portfolio of devices that are focused on reducing the impact of the phones on the environment in a number of ways, as described on the Greenheart website. Specifications for the Sony Ericsson Aspen include:
The Aspen is schedule for Q2 2010 availability in selected markets and will be available in Iconic Black and White Silver colors.
It looks like an interesting mid-level device, but I can never personally go back to a device with a low resolution display after using some very high resolution HTC and Nokia models. This is designed to be more affordable while giving the user a good experience through custom Sony Ericsson panels and UI elements.
