The dv2, which starts at $699, is a little less than an inch thick and weighs about 3.8 pounds. Hard drive options go up to 500 GB. The notebook, which is powered by AMD's Neo platform also known as Yukon, has a 12.1 inch screen. The dv2 won't be available until April

The HP Firebird with Voodoo DNA, designed for high performance uses such as photo and video editing, music creation, and gaming, is the successor to the HP Blackbird 002. The HP Firebird with Voodoo DNA will be available online at www.voodoopc.com on January 9 and will start at at $1,799.
HP rolled out the new HP Mini 2140 that weighs in at 2.6 pounds and has a 10.1 inch screen. It starts at $499 and will be available "later this month."
HP's dv3 weighs in at 4.35 pounds and sports a 13.3-inch screen. The dv3 starts at $799, runs on AMD's Turion Ultra X2 chip and is available today.
HP is showing off the HP iPrint Photo which it claims is the first free photo printing application for the iPhone.
The HP Pavillion dv6 is one of two new notebooks with 16:9 widescreen displays that are optimized for HD content. The dv6 has a 16-inch widescreen display while the dv7 has a larger 17.3-inch monitor.
HP also announced that the Vivienne Tam Edition of the Mini 1000 has begun selling in the United States. HP calls it the "world's first designer digital clutch" with prices starting at $700.
The vanilla edition of the Mini 1000 has also debuted in the United States with the 8.9-inch screen version beginning at $400.
