    From thumb drives to online personal cloud storage here are some small pieces of gear that could make life on the road a little bit easier.

    This 16GB Corsair thumb drive is big enough for thousands of Word docs or a couple of feature length movies. And it can survive a washing machine.

    You can now have your personal cloud. Run an Ethernet cable from the Pogoplug to your home router, install a bit of software on your main machine, and you can backup your choice of folders to the USB drive.
