Motorola Milestone
The Motorola Milestone is one of the first phones developed to run the second generation of Google's Android mobile operating system, known as Eclair. It features a slide-out Qwerty keyboard, a five-megapixel camera and a 3.7-inch touchscreen.

Amazon Kindle
Amazon's e-book reader is now available in the UK two years after its launch in the US. With books and newspapers available on the device, any self-respecting techies will be happy to see the Kindle in their stocking.

Palm Pre
Another of this year's hotly anticipated devices is the Palm Pre smartphone.
The iPhone rival uses Palm's WebOS, and comes with a three-megapixel camera, wi-fi and GPS.
The Palm Pre is currently only available on the O2 network.

BlackBerry Storm2
Another recent arrival on the smartphone scene is RIM's second crack at a touchscreen handset, the BlackBerry Storm2.
The new version includes built-in GPS, wi-fi and a media player for pictures, videos and music. Its Media Sync software allows the device to sync with iTunes and Windows Media Player.
The Storm2 is currently only available on Vodafone.

The latest version of Apple's mini music player features a video camera, sound recorder, FM radio and larger screen.

Samsung ST100 camera
One of the slickest compact digital cameras around is the Samsung ST100 which features wireless connectivity, giving you the ability to send pictures to mobile phones via Bluetooth or the internet via wi-fi. And that's on top of the 12.2-megapixel display and a 3.5-inch screen.

Logitech Squeezebox radio
This music box is designed to be the radio for your kitchen or bathroom rather than a full blown sound system.
Simply hook the device up to your internet connection using wi-fi or Ethernet and then you can stream web radio to any room in your house, or use it to play the tunes already stored on your PC.
You can also install apps on the device such as a Flickr application, which allows you to view images in your Flickr account on the screen of the radio.

Following the demise of the traditional Polaroid camera the company has launched this modern take on the phenomenon.
