I'm sure many of you have had to use self-storage facilities, but you've probably never seen one like this.
RoboVault is a one of a kind storage facility based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida that focuses on secure storage of fine art, exotic cars, antiques, furnishings, wine, business/forensic property, jewelry, precious metals and documents.
The facility is designed to withstand up to 200mph winds of a Category 5 hurricane. Due to the super-thick reinforced concrete structure, any harm due to theft, fire, bullets and exposure is minimized or eliminated entirely.
The storage is high and dry at a minimum of 30 feet above sea level, with smoke and carbon monoxide detection, and the facility has motion and heat detection throughout. The fire suppression and management is also state of the art.

The facility has biometric fingerprint scanning and keyed entry security features.
RoboVault's vehicle storage system is completely automated. Here, a car is driven into the loading area. Two large hangar doors flip open, revealing a rotating carousel platform. This kind of reminds me of what Bruce Wayne does when he needs to get the Batmobile out of the Batcave.
Here's a nice yellow Ferrari being rotated into place.

Of course, RoboVault is not just about car storage. You can enter the facility to store your valuables as well.
Once you enter the facility, there is the vault room for personal valuables which has its own biometric and identity access system.

The wine vault, of course, has its own dedicated entry area and is self-service as well.
The wine vault is kept at 55 degrees F in order to ensure the freshness of the wine stored at RoboVault.
Permanent backup generators and monitoring systems are installed that allow the facility to remain powered and refrigerated for ten days in the event of a catastrophic local infrastructure loss, such as due to a hurricane. RoboVault is right next to the Fort Lauderdale airport and is on the same priority electrical grid.
