If you're a bit tight for space at home, then Acer's 15.6-inch PM161Q provides a compact second screen for your laptop that you can easily carry from room to room and set up wherever you need it. You'll need a fairly modern laptop though, as the PM161Q requires a USB-C port to provide both power and video input. The 1920-by-1080 resolution (141.2dpi) is fairly modest, but that's not too much of a problem for a screen of this size, and the bright IPS panel is clear and sharp, with good viewing angles.
Some smartphones and tablets now use USB-C as well, so the PM161Q could be a good companion for smaller mobile devices too. You should, however, check to confirm that your mobile device supports video output over USB-C. And, for use with mobile devices, the PM161Q also has a Micro-USB port that can be used as a secondary power supply so you don't drain your battery too quickly.
