Dell is getting an early start on Black Friday. The company has been running daily specials at www.dell.com/everyday for some time, and there have been some good deals on consumer desktop and laptops. But some of the best deals are currently hiding under the umbrella of "Small and Medium Business" (www.dell.com/business/blackfriday). Some examples:
- Dell 17-inch widescreen monitor: $99
- Dell Vostro A860 laptop (15.6-inch display, 2.13GHz Intel Celeron M560, 1GB, 120GB HDD, CD burner, Vista Basic): $349
- Dell Vostro 200 desktop with 20-inch flat-panel display (2.2GHz Intel Pentium E2200 dual-core, 1GB, 160GB HDD, DVD burner, Vista Home Basic SP1): $389
Earlier in the day, Dell was offering a Vostro 200 Slim Tower with similar specs, but with 2GB of memory and a 19-inch LCD monitor, for $329. That deal may have been a little too good--it is now marked as "sold out" at that price.
Granted, these systems won't set any speed records, but they are fine for most everyday tasks and the prices are pretty amazing, so it's worth keeping an eye on this page as Black Friday approaches.
