According to Dell, the device will support over-the-air updates and the company said the Streak will get Android 2.2 later this year. Android 2.2 is the Froyo flavour of Google's mobile OS which is due to include support for Flash 10.1.
The Dell Streak will arrive in the UK on O2's network on Friday. The Carphone Warehouse will stock the device and has announced two contract options. The tablet will be available for free on a £25 per month contract with mobile broadband, or on a £35 per month contract with voice and unlimited data. Users can also purchase the Streak contract-free for £429.
